150 TO FIT


Back after a bit of a summer hiatus.

Honestly, I didn’t focus a whole lot on fitness and diet, etc. this summer. And I’m not beating myself up over it. It was mine and ben’s last summer as highschool students before he went off to uni, as did most of my friends so I just went about enjoying my summer. And I feel great. :)
But as I go back to school tomorrow, I’m getting back on track with my running, lifting and diet. I’m cutting back on my carbs and sugars significantly. So, whole grain breads/rice/pasta only and no more breakfast cereal, even if it was all wholegrains, there was too much sugar. No juice anymore, except for the occasional small glass of OJ (with pulp). More veg! I have so much trouble working vegetables into my diet without getting bored but tumblr’s got me inspired so yay! So water, tea, and lemon water only for hydrating. And no sugar in the tea Rachel!
Running should be cool, I actually miss it. I’m looking forward to doing evening runs when I get off work now. Because fuck running in the morning, I hate it. Ha. 
Lifting should be easy to get back into a routine off, and I’ve got some real nifty calisthenics workouts to rotate in there as well.

Looking forward to getting back in the swing of things! September, here we go! :D

  • Normal people: I can't wait to have my own place so I can stay out late, get drunk and be as loud and messy as I want.
  • Me: I can't wait to have my own place so I can buy my own food and organise my fridge and kitchen and cook awesome healthy meals in it and have a closet dedicated to workout gear and my own little yoga space and motivational/feel-good things everywhere omggg.


I haven’t posted a progress picture in a while, and I suppose the fact the I am FINALLY making progress again means that I should. I wish I had a full body before picture, but I don’t. So, there ya go. The before picture is from the day I started my journey. I took a picture of myself and told myself that that was the last time I would ever look in the mirror and see that.

Here body is my ideal, my gosh, it’s not too skinny; perfect. :)
